TOKACHI - An Unknown Paradise in Hokkaido Japan

Japan has always been a world-famous tourist attraction, among which Hokkaido is the most popular for tourist. However, most tourists are not aware of the Tokachi region, which is famous for its agriculture and animal husbandry in Japan. The Mount Daisetsu mountain range to the north is a famous tourist spot with must untouched nature. In the south, there are endless farmland and the Pacific Ocean nearby. The expansive landscapes, limited tourists, and rich natural resources make the Tokachi region the most ‘Hokkaido-like’ flavor.

There is no off-peak season in the Tokachi region, each season will bring you refreshing surprises, such as the famous Banei Horse racing, the natural ice phenomenon - Jewelry Ice, Japan’s Santa Claus village, Sled Dog snowfield parade, Obihiro downtown romantic horses carriage (there is a bar in the carriage where you can taste a variety of wines and snacks), Naitai Highlands Farm where 2700 milk cows are put out to pasture; Tokachi Millenium Forest a work by Landscape designer Dan Pearson and awarded the highest ‘Grand Award’ in Japan;  Kachimai Fireworks Festival, Nakasatsunai Art Village, a must-visit Kita no Tatai food market, and the world-famous natural hot spring baths, the rare source that only can be found in two places in the world.
