Mr. Tristan Yeung, APERTUS Regional Representative for Europe, recently spoke with Mr. Gary Forster, Group FBO Business Development Manager giving us the most exclusive and comprehensive introduction of Bali FBO.
The Bali FBO is located on the south apron opposite the main terminal of Ngurah Rai International Airport. Mr. Gary Forster said operations commenced in October 2013 to coincide with the APEC Summit, an opportunity was presented to the Airport Authority to Manage a First FBO in Indonesia under a 5-year initial agreement. ExecuJet has great confidence in the business jet handling in Bali, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
Mr. Forster said the design of the FBO took into consideration of the unique local culture combine with the international standard. They started operations in Oct 2013 in a temporary facility then moved into the adjacent building in late 2014 on completion of the general aviation terminal. The FBO provide 24 hrs service on request to cater the arrival of international flights from different regions, the handling through the general aviation terminal includes customs, immigration, aircraft and passengers handling. They are also equipped to handle the application of landing and overfly permits, collection of airport charges and concierge services. Since entering operations, the FBO has seen the growth of handling year on year, in 2019 they handled nearly 600 private jet flights.

The FBO maintained a close relationship with local government agents to cooperate on any travel restriction changes whether is travel to, from and within Indonesia. An audited checklist ensures all procedures are followed and staff are mandated to wear the best PPE and wash hands regularly.
